WoW: Arena PvP bout lasts 10 hours, 20 minutes

WoW logo - Image 1No retreat, no surrender? There's a thread over at theWorld of Warcraftforums which discusses the misadventures of Weaslelawd, who's just walked away from a10 hour, 20 minute long PvP match...yes, you read that right.

According to Weaslelawd, a resto shaman, the impromptu marathon began when he and a Warrior buddy engaged a resto druid and lock in a 2v2 arena bout. The DPSers (The Lock and Warrior) were KO'd early in the match, with neither Weaslelawd nor Spiked (The druid) able to resurrect their partners as they were constantly interrupting each other's attempts.

What followed was a slugfest that lasted for the aforementioned time, with either side unable to out-DPS the other because of their builds (Resto, remember?). Talks between each other's PvP partners for a settlement also apparently fell through, and hostilities continued. The stalemate ended with Spiked finally tiring out, and asking Weaslelawd to finish him off.

The aftermath of thisWoWmatch left Spiked with eight pieces of broken gear, Weaslelawd with 15 extra points in his arena ratings, and generous amounts of ROFLMAOs, high-fives, and facepalms from the readers in either player's discussion threads. Now that's dedication - wait up in caseBlizzarddecides to make arena escapades like thisopen for public viewing.
