Virginia Judge: Plaintiff Alleges Employer Knew Of Take-Home Asbestos Dangers, Survives Demurrer

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - A man has successfully shown that his employer can be held liable for his wife's mesothelioma by alleging that it knew or should have known that his wife was at danger of being exposed to asbestos, that the substance is hazardous and that the company failed to take appropriate safety precautions, a Virginia judge held Sept. 11 (David B.
