Website money

When does the Merchant pay you?

The Merchant pays you when a specific action is performed by the visitor on your website (click, impression, lead or sale). You might get paid if he signs up for an offer or purchases a product. There are times when you might get paid if a visitor clicks on the banner or links placed on your website.

  • Clicks. You can get paid when someone just clicks on the sponsored links on your page.
  • Impression. Impression is the number of times the link has been displayed on your website, where an Advertiser pays for each display (impression) of their advertisement (usually a banner).
  • Lead. Lead is when a visitor becomes a member by registering with the Advertiser's website. That is, when the website you are promoting gets a member, you get the commission.
  • Sale. You get the commission when the visitor buys something from the website you are promoting.

How will you get visitors on your website?

Now, it's the time to bring visitors to your website. Google and Yahoo are the best places for you to drive traffic to your website. The service that they provide is called PPC (Pay per Click). You will only be charged if a visitor clicks on your ads placed on Google or Yahoo.

I suggest that you sign up for at-least one of the following so that you can see how things work.
